Requirements
  • Bachelor degree, AND: 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative duties in support of substance use prevention projects as assigned.
  • Coordinates administrative functions, such as personnel, operational matters and other services
  • Assists in the preparation of grant documents and ensures accuracy
  • Online outreach and promotion using social media under guidance from project staff
  • Participate at community and campus meetings, health events, festivals, or activities
  • Provide community education and outreach services within Cleveland and McClain Counties
  • Collaborate with Office of Research Administration, SPF-Rx Principal Investigator and SPF-Rx Program Coordinator in support of substance use prevention projects
  • Coordinates activities between the SPF-Rx grant and other programs within Southwest Prevention Center, other departments and colleges within the University of Oklahoma
  • Distributes information to program staff and others
  • Examines and solves irregularities in program data
  • Assist in the collection of data for reports and statistical research
  • Organizes and participates in the analysis of collected data
  • Compile statistical data in Excel spreadsheets
  • May perform data entry, collect, and clean data
  • Ensures project is in compliance with university regulations
  • Coordinates with the SPF-Rx Program Coordinator and Institutional Review Board to develop protocols and develop consent forms
  • Answers questions about the program and its progress as it relates financially
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Desired Qualifications
  • Volunteer or paid experience in drug and alcohol prevention, public health, health field or social services
  • Ability and skills to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment with both members of the project and the department
  • Experience working with community coalitions
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain Certified Prevention Specialist credential within 18 months
